THE ANIMA METHODA system to understand yourself, and change what follows.
A guided path from confusion to clarity, built from years of therapy work.
PROVEN SYSTEM FOR ADHD NEUROTYPESWhat is The Anima Method?
The Anima Method is a system developed from years of therapy, distilled into a guided path anyone can follow. It walks you from understanding your neurotype, your nervous system and the neuroscience behind it, into real acceptance, then into unravelling the limiting beliefs that were never really yours, getting clear on what you actually want, and living in alignment with it.
Participants move from confusion and shame, "why am I like this?", to a clear understanding of how their brain and nervous system work. Along the way, you build real regulation skills and a kinder relationship with yourself.
For ADHD and Autistic adults, or anyone who suspects they might be, who are ready to stop guessing at why they are the way they are, and start building a life that actually fits them.
The Anima Method is a neuroaffirming, clinically grounded program for ADHD and autistic women, built from a six-week group program I facilitated and refined with real participants. It blends counselling-informed psychoeducation with practical, usable skills, so you're not just learning about your brain, you're learning what to do on a Tuesday afternoon when everything feels like too much.
It isn't about fixing you. It's about understanding you, and building a way of living that works with your wiring instead of against it.
“I realised that my brain is different to others, it requires specific therapy and accommodations, and that's ok”
— Former Customer“DO IT. It's life changing, it will explain so much about your past and present experiences, and it's a really safe space to do so.”
— Former Customer“Week 2 was when I really started realising what I'd been masking/doing my whole life and blew my brain a little…”
— Former CustomerDoes any of this sound familiar?
You've tried the planners, the routines and the productivity advice, and each one left you feeling more behind.
You can hold it together all day, then fall apart in private.
You only realise what you were feeling once it's already too much.
One small comment, or a slow reply, can send you spiralling for hours.
You've been called too sensitive, too intense, too much, or not enough.
You suspect, or have just learned, that you're ADHD or autistic, and you're not sure what to do with that.
None of this means something is wrong with you.
It means your nervous system has been working overtime in a world designed for different brains, and nobody ever showed you how it actually works.
That's what this program is for.
What’s inside?
Your workbook takes you through six parts. Each one combines clear explanations, reflection prompts and exercises you can use straight away.
Part 1: Your nervous system. Start with the foundation. You'll learn how your nervous system actually works, so the reactions you've been judging yourself for finally have an explanation.
Part 2: The neurodivergent emotional experience. For many neurodivergent women, this is the part where years of confusion start to make sense. You'll explore why emotions can hit so fast and so hard, and why naming them can feel impossible.
Part 3: What to do when its too much. Some moments are too big to think your way through. This part gives you a practical toolkit for the moment the wave is already here, drawn from evidence-based DBT and CBT.
Part 4: Meeting your parts. This part introduces parts work, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), a model that sees the mind as made up of parts alongside a calm, core Self. You'll meet your inner critic from a very different angle.
Part 5: Earning your own trust back. Here you go deeper with the same part, and begin to build trust between it and the calmer, wiser Self that can lead.
Part 6: Integration and self-led living. The final part brings everything together, so what you've learned becomes something you can live by, not just something you've read.
Is this for you?
This is for you if:
You're an ADHD, Autistic or AuDHD adult, diagnosed or self-identified
You're newly diagnosed, or newly curious, and want to understand what it means for you
You're burnt out and tired of advice that wasn't written for your brain
You want practical skills, not just information
You'd like to learn in your own time, from wherever you are in the world
This may not be the right fit if:
You're in crisis or need urgent support. The Anima Method is educational and is not a replacement for therapy or emergency care.
You want live, personalised support. In that case, the Live group or 1:1 sessions below might suit you better.

Meet Serena
Serena is a therapist and ADHD coach working at the intersection of neurodivergence, burnout, and women's identity. She draws on DBT, ACT, IFS, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches to help women understand how their nervous system works. Her approach is grounded, warm, honest, and built around the belief that understanding yourself is the beginning of everything.
Based in Barcelona and originally from Melbourne, Serena holds a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and has spent more than eight years working with autistic and AuDHD children, alongside supporting neurodivergent women and adults. She also teaches Pilates and yoga, so she thinks about the body as much as the mind, because regulation lives in both.
Serena doesn't believe neurodivergent people need to be fixed. She believes you deserve to understand your brain, and to have tools that actually fit it. She created The Anima Method so that more women, wherever they live, can get this kind of understanding without waiting for a place in a group or a spot on a waitlist.
