The Anima Method is a self-paced, 6 module program that walks you through understanding your ADHD or autistic brain and translating that understanding into how you actually live day to day.
-
No. Whether you're formally diagnosed, self-identify as neurodivergent, or simply know you're a highly sensitive person, you're welcome here. A lot of people come to this work before they have a diagnosis, or without ever seeking one, and that doesn't make the exhaustion, overwhelm, or feeling stuck any less real. We start from where you actually are, not from a label

We begin with an intake form, followed by our first session. I take a person-centred approach: I believe you are the expert in your own life.
The first few sessions are about getting to know you: your story, what's been coming up, and your world.
Building rapport and trust, both ways, is important for a therapeutic relationship that creates lasting change.

1:1 sessions are individual therapy, built around what's actually happening for you right now, whether that's burnout, identity, relationships, or patterns you feel stuck in. It's personalised, responsive work with me directly.
The Anima Method is a self-paced, 6 module program for understanding your neurodivergent brain and building a life around how you're actually wired. It's a lower-commitment starting point if you want to begin understanding your own patterns before, or instead of, jumping into 1:1 work.
If you're not sure which one fits, book a 1:1 session first, we can figure out the right path together from there.

There's no fixed length. Some come for a defined piece of work across a season or two. Others return over years, in chapters. To build momentum and support change, I generally suggest 6 weekly sessions, then tapering to fortnightly if that's workable for you.

It means autism, ADHD, sensory difference and other neurotypes are held as ways of being rather than deficits to correct. We are not learning to mask more skilfully; we are practising unmasking safely. Pace, communication and sensory needs are yours to name, and I will follow.
-
It's a way of bringing the body into the conversation. Not a dramatic technique, more often, the small act of noticing sensation, breath, and how your system is arranging itself in this moment. It gives insight somewhere to actually settle.

Research supports telehealth counselling as an effective and convenient option for many people, particularly for ongoing, regular sessions.
-
That's completely normal. Feel free to reach out with any questions before booking, or book an initial session to see how it feels — there's no obligation to continue.
-
I do not. I sit alongside many late-recognised and self-identified neurodivergent adults, and can gently point you toward assessors I trust if that's a step you'd like to take.
-
No referral is needed, you can book directly.

Not Medicare — counsellors are not currently registered Medicare providers, though this may change in future.
For NDIS, coverage depends on your funding and goals, and what we focus on in session.
Still Waters is a skills-based group program and is usually covered under the NDIS skills-building category.
-
Telehealth counselling isn't appropriate for crisis situations. If you're in crisis, please contact 000, Lifeline (13 11 14), or your nearest emergency department.
